ハロリーンですね。初めてこんなパーティーに行けるようになった。コスチュームを作る時、どんな服をするかと考えていた。いいコスチュームを作ってほしければ人物の必要な物を考えなければならない。私とエライザはアンチャーテッドのネーソン・ドレイクとエレーナ・フィシャーの必要な物を考えた。彼女にはエレーナの髪がブロンドだから鬘が要って、鉄砲とホルスターと記者のバッジが要った。二人の人物の服は普通だから半分もう押し入れにあったと、半分が簡単に買えた。私には指輪のネックレスと大きい尾錠とホルスターと鉄砲が要った。鬘以外で全部アマゾンから注文した。速く届けてくれたけれど、おもちゃの鉄砲が遅くなった。だから写真をとった時手でぴゅんぴゅんした。鉄砲がなくて残念が他の必要な物で人物に似ていた。

レッドフックの２階でダンスパーティーがあって、写真ブースがあったしからそこは楽しかった。久しぶりダンシングやった。来月エライザはNaNoWriMoをやっているけれど再来月ゴシックグラブにダンスに行くつもり。住んでいるアパートはうるさい音楽がルームメイトたちに迷惑かけるからアパートでダンシングがあまり出来ない。その訳でこのダンスタイムは超楽しかった。家に帰ったら怖い映画をNetflixで見た。このようにいいハロリーンが出来た。

Ah, Halloween. This was the first time I have been able to go to this type of party. When making a costume you have to think about what to wear. If you want to make a really good costume, you must think of the character’s essential things. Eliza and I thought of Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, and Elana Fischer’s essential items. For her Elena’s hair is blonde so we needed a wig, and a gun, a holster, and a press badge. The two characters’ clothes were pretty normal. So we had half of them in our closet, and the other half were easy to buy. For myself, I needed a ring necklace, a large buckle, a holster, and a gun. Except for the wig we ordered everything from Amazon. It was delivered quickly, but the toy guns came too late. So for the pictures we had to use our hands to –pew—pew-.  It was a bummer not to have the guns, but the other necessary things made us look like our characters.

On the second floor of Red Hook there was a dance party, and a photo booth, so that was a lot of fun. It had been a while since I had been dancing. Next month Eliza is doing NaNoWriMo, but the month after that we intend to go dance at a gothic club. In the apartment we are living in noisy music will annoy our roommates, so we cannot do much dancing. For that reason this dance time was super enjoyable. When we got home we watched a scary movie on Netflix. This way we had a good Halloween.
